A Happy Birthday For The Whole Family

The birth of a new baby is such a joyous occasion,┬ábut often, parents are concerned about the older siblings’ adjustment. I’d love to do more than ease anxieties that a new baby can bring. My aim is for children to be prepared for the days and months to come, from the last weeks of pregnancy through to those first weeks with a newborn in the house. I believe that the more children understand and the more they can be involved and discover their own identity as an awesome older sibling, everyone in the house will benefit. Let’s celebrate the birth, and the awesome new adventure you will be taking as a family.

New Sibling Playgroup

One of the best ways to prepare for a new baby is to meet a new baby! Brand new big siblings and soon-to-be big siblings are invited to come play with other siblings. Make new friends, read books about babies, play with dolls, relax, enjoy. These playgroups are low-key ways to prep your child for their new baby.

Sibling Preparation Class

This course is totally tailored to your family’s needs. Children ages one to six will learn about pregnancy, birth, and life with a newborn. Age-appropriate and infused with excitement, children will learn about the physiology of pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. Children will leave the course with increased confidence in their new role. I have a special passion for preparing children to attend a sibling’s birth, so if this is part of your birth plan, I would love to assist you in any way possible. But I want to ease the transition for your child no matter your plans for birth or feeding, feel free to get in touch!
